Looking for Michigan Canoeing & Kayaking? MAPP professionals care deeply about Michigan’s waters and are dedicated to preserving our rivers; recreational paddling as an enjoyable, educational, and unparalleled life sport; and preserving the public’s right to access and paddle our rivers.
Our members promote the protection and responsible use of Michigan’s natural resources. We encourage our customers to paddle responsibly with respect for others. Please follow the rules of River Etiquette.
Michigan is blessed with more paddling opportunities than any other state. Discover the awakening of spring, the splashes of summer and the colors of fall from a canoe or kayak or other paddle craft. If you are in need of some help choosing the paddlesport provider for your river trip we offer some river River Tips. If you Own Your Own paddlecraft we can accommodate but there are a couple things you must know to help you on your way.

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.
